Overview

NBP607B is an adjuvanted, cell-based influenza vaccine candidate developed by SK bioscience. It is a high-immunogenicity formulation designed to enhance protective efficacy, particularly in the elderly population, by incorporating a proprietary adjuvant developed by the Vaccine Formulation Institute (VFI). The vaccine is based on SK bioscience's existing cell-culture technology used in SKYCellflu, which is an inactivated quadrivalent influenza vaccine. NBP607B aims to address the reduced immune response typically observed in older adults with standard influenza vaccines. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to assess its safety and immunogenicity compared to standard vaccines.
