Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NC-001 is a small molecule therapeutic candidate being developed by NodCure for the treatment of cancer metastasis, mucositis, and ulcerative colitis. Currently in the IND-enabling phase, NC-001 is designed to modulate the Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD) signaling pathway. By targeting NOD-like receptors (NLRs), the drug aims to regulate the inflammatory environment and immune responses that drive the progression of metastatic cancer and chronic inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. The candidate is the lead therapeutic in NodCure's pipeline and is being advanced toward clinical trials for multiple high-need indications.
