NC-1900 is a synthetic hexapeptide analog of the arginine vasopressin (AVP) fragment AVP(4-9), developed by Nippon Chemiphar. It acts as a potent and selective agonist of the vasopressin V1A receptor. Designed for enhanced metabolic stability, NC-1900 possesses a half-life approximately five times longer than the endogenous AVP(4-9) fragment and demonstrates biological activity at significantly lower doses.
