Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NC-SER is a preclinical drug candidate developed by Medlab Clinical (now Medlab Group) that utilizes the proprietary NanoCelle drug delivery platform to deliver growth hormone (somatropin) sublingually. The NanoCelle technology creates micellar nanoparticles that enhance the solubility and absorption of the hormone through the oral mucosa, allowing it to enter the bloodstream directly and bypass the gastrointestinal tract and first-pass metabolism. NC-SER is being developed for indications such as muscular hypertrophy and weight loss, providing a potentially more convenient and non-invasive alternative to traditional injectable growth hormone therapies.
