NC762 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that specifically targets B7-H4 (also known as V-set domain-containing T-cell activation inhibitor 1), a protein overexpressed on the surface of various tumor cells. By binding to B7-H4, NC762 can induce antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) against B7-H4-expressing tumor cells and inhibit their proliferation. Notably, preclinical and early clinical data suggest that NC762 may also exert anti-tumor effects independently of immune cell infiltration in the tumor microenvironment, indicating both ADCC-dependent and ADCC-independent mechanisms. Developed by NextCure, this investigational immunotherapy was evaluated for advanced or metastatic solid tumors including non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, and other solid tumors[1][3][5][6][8].
