Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NCP-01 is an autologous neural cell precursor (NCP) therapy developed by Hemostemix and its subsidiary PreCerv. The therapy is derived from a patient's own peripheral blood using Hemostemix's proprietary automated cell manufacturing platform. NCP-01 is designed to treat conditions of the central and peripheral nervous system by providing a source of cells capable of differentiating into neural lineages and secreting neurotrophic factors to promote tissue repair and regeneration. Hemostemix granted a global field-of-use license to PreCerv to specifically advance the development of NCP-01 for neurological indications, including neurodegenerative diseases and nerve injuries.
