Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NCR100 is a cell therapy product consisting of human induced pluripotent stem cell-derived mesenchymal-like cells, developed for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. The therapy involves injecting these stem cell-derived mesenchymal stromal cells into the affected joint, with the aim to reduce inflammation and promote tissue repair in osteoarthritic knees. The drug is being developed by Nuwacell Biotechnologies and has reached Phase 2 clinical trials for knee osteoarthritis. Its mechanism of action is based on the regenerative and immunomodulatory properties of mesenchymal-like cells derived from induced pluripotent stem cells[1][2][3].
