Overview

NCR102 is a cell therapy product based on **mesenchymal stem cells** derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). It is being developed for the treatment of **acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD)**, especially in patients who are steroid-refractory and have failed second-line therapy. The drug is administered as an injection and is currently in Phase 1/2 clinical trials. The therapy aims to harness the immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties of iPSC-derived mesenchymal stem cells to ameliorate the symptoms of aGVHD, particularly in cases with gastrointestinal involvement. NCR102 is being developed and trialed by Nuwacell Biotechnologies[5][7][9].
