Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ND-003 refers to two distinct investigational drugs in development by different companies. The first, developed by Shenzhen NewDEL Biotech, is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor targeting multiple kinases, including tropomyosin-related kinase (TRK), rearranged during transfection (RET), and c-Kit. It is being investigated for its antineoplastic activity and potential use in neoplasms, immune system diseases, and congenital disorders. The second drug called ND-003 was developed by Numab Innovation AG/Sucampo Pharmaceuticals as a bispecific anti-IL5R x CD3 antibody fragment designed for the targeted lysis of eosinophils in severe asthma. This biologic was intended for topical administration to the lung but has been discontinued.
