Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ND108E is an investigational hyaluronic acid-17β-estradiol conjugate (HA-E2) being developed by Holy Stone Healthcare for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease in postmenopausal women. Utilizing the proprietary HylNeuro™ platform and Hyaluronan Drug Delivery (HDD) technology, the drug is designed as a brain-targeted small molecule conjugate. It leverages CD44 receptors to facilitate transport across the blood-brain barrier (BBB) into the hippocampus. Once in the central nervous system, it engages estrogen receptors to restore cognitive function, memory, and spine density. Preclinical data presented at the Clinical Trials on Alzheimer's Disease (CTAD) conference demonstrated its ability to cross the BBB and reverse cognitive impairment.
