Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NDEX Exosomes is a discovery-stage neural-derived exosome platform developed by Aruna Bio (formerly ArunA Biomedical) for the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) disorders. These exosomes are cell-free biologics derived from a proprietary human neural stem cell line and are designed to cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB). The platform leverages the natural ability of neural-derived extracellular vesicles to deliver therapeutic payloads or exert innate neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects within the CNS. While Aruna Bio's lead candidate, AB126, is an unmodified neural-derived exosome, the NDEX platform represents the company's broader technological foundation for developing exosome-based treatments for a variety of neurological conditions, including neurodegenerative diseases and acute brain injuries.
