Overview
Nectin-4 cyclopeptide radiolabeled compound is a preclinical-stage radiopharmaceutical being developed by Yunnan Baiyao Group. It consists of a cyclopeptide ligand designed to specifically bind to Nectin-4 (Poliovirus receptor-related protein 4), a cell surface protein that is highly expressed in various solid tumors, including bladder and breast cancers. The compound is radiolabeled for use in nuclear medicine, potentially serving both diagnostic (imaging) and therapeutic (radioligand therapy) purposes by delivering radioactive isotopes directly to Nectin-4-expressing malignant cells. As of 2024, the program is in the preclinical stage with patents filed to protect the novel ligand structure.
