This specific asset is a payload conjugate, functioning as a peptide-drug conjugate (PDC) that targets Nectin-4 (Poliovirus receptor-related protein 4), a cell surface protein frequently overexpressed in several solid tumors, including bladder, breast, and lung cancers. By binding to Nectin-4, the dexabody delivers a conjugated cytotoxic payload directly to the tumor cells to induce cell death while minimizing off-target effects.
