Neisseria meningitidis group W-135 capsular polysaccharide tetanus toxoid conjugate antigen is a biologic vaccine component used for active immunization against invasive meningococcal disease. It consists of the purified capsular polysaccharide of *N. meningitidis* serogroup W-135 covalently bound to a tetanus toxoid carrier protein. This conjugation process converts the T-cell independent polysaccharide into a T-cell dependent antigen, which enhances immunogenicity by recruiting T-cell help, leading to higher antibody titers and the induction of immunological memory. It is one of the four active conjugate antigens contained in the quadrivalent vaccine MenQuadfi, developed by Sanofi, which is indicated for use in individuals aged 6 weeks and older to prevent disease caused by serogroups A, C, W, and Y.
