**NeisVac-C + Infanrix hexa** is a combination immunization regimen involving co-administration of two vaccines: NeisVac-C, a meningococcal group C polysaccharide conjugate vaccine, and Infanrix hexa, a hexavalent pediatric vaccine covering diphtheria, tetanus, acellular pertussis, hepatitis B, inactivated poliovirus, and Haemophilus influenzae type b. NeisVac-C contains 10 μg of Neisseria meningitidis group C polysaccharide conjugated to tetanus toxoid, which induces a T-cell dependent immune response and increases immunogenicity in infants. Infanrix hexa provides protection against six diseases by inducing antibodies to its 10 antigens (diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, pertussis toxin, filamentous haemagglutinin, pertactin, hepatitis B surface antigen, inactivated poliovirus types 1-3, and Hib polyribosylribitol phosphate conjugated to tetanus toxoid). The co-administration is indicated in infants and young children, providing broad immunization coverage with proven safety and immunogenicity; studies have shown no clinically relevant interference in immune response or increased adverse events when NeisVac-C and Infanrix hexa are administered simultaneously but at different injection sites[1][2][3].
