Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nelipepimut-S + sargramostim is a cancer vaccine consisting of the HER2-derived MHC class I peptide E75 (nelipepimut-S) combined with granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF, sargramostim). The vaccine is designed to stimulate a specific cytotoxic T-lymphocyte response against HER2/neu-expressing tumor cells, particularly in breast cancer. Nelipepimut-S is an immunogenic peptide from the HER2 protein that is highly expressed in breast cancer, while sargramostim serves as an immune adjuvant to enhance the immune response.
