Overview

Nelistotug is a fully human IgG1κ monoclonal antibody that targets the human CD96 antigen, also known as T cell activation increased late expression or TACTILE. It acts as an antagonist of the CD96 receptor on immune cells. By inhibiting CD96, nelistotug is designed to enhance antitumor immune responses by promoting T cell and natural killer (NK) cell activity against cancer cells. The drug is being developed primarily for use in immunotherapy combinations for solid tumors such as non-small cell lung cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Its mechanism includes direct inhibition of the immunosuppressive function of CD96 and may involve antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity[1][2][3][5].
