Overview

NEO-201 is a humanized immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) monoclonal antibody developed to target tumor-associated antigens (TAAs), specifically recognizing variants of the carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule family (CEACAM), including CEACAM-5 and CEACAM-6. These antigens are overexpressed on a variety of human carcinoma cell lines and tumor tissues but not on normal epithelial tissues. The drug was generated from an immunogenic colorectal cancer vaccine platform and exerts its anti-tumor effects primarily through mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), stimulation of natural killer cells, induction of apoptosis in tumor cells, and modulation/depletion of regulatory T lymphocytes. It is being investigated for use in multiple solid tumors that have failed standard therapies[2][3][4][5][6].
