Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NEO-201 ADC is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Precision Biologics for the treatment of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, specifically castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). The drug utilizes the NEO-201 monoclonal antibody, which is a humanized IgG1 antibody that targets tumor-associated truncated O-glycans. These glycans are aberrantly expressed on the surface of various cancer cells but are not found on normal, healthy tissues. By conjugating this highly specific antibody to a cytotoxic payload, NEO-201 ADC is designed to selectively deliver the toxin to tumor cells, leading to targeted cell death while sparing healthy cells. The development of this ADC is part of a broader platform leveraging the NEO-201 antibody's specificity for engineered therapeutic modalities.
