**NEO Agent nanochains** are preclinical, drug-loaded, PTPµ-targeted nanochains being developed by NeoIndicate for targeted treatment of invasive brain tumors, including pediatric glioma. The nanochains use a ligand that recognizes cancer-associated fragments of receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase mu expressed in the tumor microenvironment while sparing intact PTPµ in normal tissue. Following tumor localization, an externally applied low-power radiofrequency field is intended to trigger local release of the encapsulated cytotoxic payload, potentially improving tumor exposure while limiting off-target drug delivery.
