Neo-antigen pulsed dendritic cell therapy is a form of personalized cancer immunotherapy in which a patient's own dendritic cells are harvested and then "pulsed" (loaded) ex vivo with synthetic peptides corresponding to tumor-specific neoantigens identified from the patient’s tumor. These loaded cells are then re-administered to the patient, where they present the neoantigens to T cells, priming and activating an immune response specifically against cancer cells harboring those mutations. This approach leverages advances in genomic sequencing and bioinformatics to identify unique tumor mutations for each individual. Clinical studies have shown that this therapy can induce antigen-specific T-cell responses and has demonstrated safety and early signs of efficacy in various advanced cancers including hepatocellular carcinoma, melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, sarcoma, lymphoma, renal cell carcinoma, colon cancer, and others[1][2][3][4].
