Overview

Neo20 is a preclinical therapeutic cancer vaccine based on an mRNA platform formulated in a liposomal delivery system, being developed by Houston Methodist Research Institute for oncology indications with a focus on triple-negative breast cancer and other neoplastic and skin/musculoskeletal diseases.[1] As an mRNA vaccine, Neo20 is designed to deliver nucleic acid sequences encoding tumor-associated or neoantigenic proteins into host cells, which then express these antigens and elicit a targeted anti-tumor immune response, although the specific antigen targets and construct details have not been publicly disclosed.[1] The program is currently reported at a preclinical research stage without published clinical efficacy or safety data.[1]
