NEO_PLIN2101 is a personalized mRNA neoantigen cancer vaccine developed by NeoCura that is individually designed for each patient based on the unique somatic mutations in their tumor. Using high-throughput sequencing and AI-driven epitope prediction, NeoCura selects neoantigen peptides predicted to be efficiently presented by that patient’s HLA molecules and capable of eliciting strong T-cell responses, then encodes these neoantigens in an mRNA vaccine manufactured in vitro. The vaccine is administered to activate tumor-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, with the goal of controlling tumor growth and reducing tumor burden, and is being clinically developed in combination with PD-1 blockade (e.g., sintilimab) for multiple advanced solid tumors in China.[1][10][3]
