The regimen consists of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) using carboplatin and paclitaxel, followed by interval debulking surgery (IDS) combined with short-course Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC). The HIPEC component involves the administration of cisplatin (with or without doxorubicin) directly into the peritoneal cavity at temperatures of 41-43°C for 30 minutes. Following surgery, patients receive adjuvant chemotherapy with the same carboplatin and paclitaxel combination to complete a total of six systemic cycles. This multimodal approach aims to maximize cytoreduction and target residual microscopic disease through both systemic and localized delivery enhanced by hyperthermia.
