Overview

The Neoantigen Polypeptide Vaccine-Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University-solid tumor is an investigational personalized cancer vaccine designed to treat advanced malignant solid neoplasms. The therapeutic approach involves identifying patient-specific tumor mutations through whole exome sequencing (WES) and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq). These identified neoantigens are then used to manufacture customized polypeptide sequences that serve as the active vaccine components. When administered, the vaccine is intended to stimulate the patient's immune system to recognize and attack tumor cells expressing these specific antigens. A Phase I clinical trial is evaluating the safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy of this vaccine in patients with advanced solid tumors, including colorectal cancer.
