Neoantigen Reactive T Cells (NRTs) developed by the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University is a personalized cell-based immunotherapy for the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. The therapy involves the isolation of a patient's own T lymphocytes, which are then expanded and selected ex vivo for their specific ability to recognize and react against tumor-specific neoantigens—unique antigens resulting from non-synonymous mutations within the individual's tumor. Once re-infused into the patient, these NRTs are intended to mediate targeted immunologic cytotoxicity against gastric cancer cells. In clinical settings, this therapy is typically evaluated in combination with lymphodepleting chemotherapy and interleukin-2 (IL-2) to enhance T cell persistence and activity.
