NeoDC-Vac is a personalized, autologous dendritic cell (DC) vaccine designed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. The therapeutic process begins with the identification of patient-specific tumor neoantigens through whole-exome sequencing and RNA sequencing of tumor biopsies. Synthetic peptides corresponding to these unique mutations are then used to pulse the patient's own mature dendritic cells *ex vivo*. Once administered, these neoantigen-presenting DCs migrate to the lymph nodes where they prime and activate neoantigen-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. This targeted activation induces a robust anti-tumor immune response, aiming to overcome the low immunogenicity of many cancers by focusing the immune system on unique, non-self mutations that are not present in healthy tissue.
