Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NEOK002 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) designed to simultaneously target the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and mucin 1 (MUC1). Developed by NEOK Bio, Inc., this therapeutic candidate is intended for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors. By dual-targeting EGFR and MUC1—two antigens frequently overexpressed in various epithelial cancers—NEOK002 aims to enhance tumor specificity and overcome resistance mechanisms associated with single-target therapies. The bispecific antibody component facilitates the selective delivery of a cytotoxic payload directly into tumor cells upon internalization. As of 2024, NEOK002 is undergoing Phase 1 clinical evaluation to assess its safety, tolerability, and to determine the recommended dose for expansion (RDE).
