NeomiVac

NeomiVac is an investigational next-generation mRNA-LNP (lipid nanoparticle) vaccine candidate developed by NeoVac Ltd. for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccine utilizes a proprietary ionizable lipid nanoparticle delivery system to encapsulate mRNA encoding the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, specifically the Omicron BA.1 variant. NeomiVac was designed to improve upon the safety and tolerability profiles of first-generation mRNA vaccines while maintaining robust immunogenicity. It has been evaluated in a Phase I/II first-in-human, open-label, dose-escalation clinical trial in the United Kingdom, where it demonstrated a superior safety profile and encouraging immune responses in healthy adult volunteers.
