Overview
Neonorm is a standardized botanical extract derived from the Croton lechleri tree, developed as a plant-based, non-prescription product to support normal stool formation and maintain gut hydration in newborn foals and pre-weaned dairy calves. It is designed to reduce the severity of diarrhea (scours), promote faster recovery from dehydration, and support weight gain during early life stages. The product acts locally in the gut with minimal systemic absorption and has been clinically tested for efficacy in both foals and calves. Unlike antimicrobials, it does not contribute to antimicrobial resistance[1][2][3][4][5][6].
