Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NeoPep Vaccine2 (NPVAC-2) is a personalized therapeutic cancer vaccine designed to stimulate the immune system against tumor-specific neoantigens. Each batch of the vaccine is custom-manufactured for individual patients by identifying somatic mutations in their tumors and synthesizing up to 20 unique peptides corresponding to these neoantigens. The goal is to induce a robust T-cell mediated immune response targeting cancer cells that express these mutated proteins. It is being developed primarily for glioma and other neoplasms, with clinical trials focusing on newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients. The developer and active organization behind this drug is Hangzhou NeoVax Biotechnology.
