Overview

NEOSH101 is a synthetic peptide drug developed as a topical treatment for androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss). It was originally developed by Neosil and later acquired by Peplin, which itself was subsequently acquired by LEO Pharma. The drug was designed to promote hair growth in patients with androgenetic alopecia, but its precise mechanism of action remains undefined. Clinical trials reached Phase 2, where NEOSH101 demonstrated significant increases in hair growth among men with pattern hair loss. However, development for this indication has been discontinued[1][2][3].
