Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Neotone Serum is a topical dermo-cosmetic product developed by ISISPHARMA for the treatment of hyperpigmentation conditions, such as melasma and facial dyspigmentation. It is formulated with a patented multi-active complex called DEPI-ACT, which targets several stages of the melanogenesis pathway. Key active ingredients include Diacetyl Boldine (Lumiskin) to prevent melanin formation, Alpha-Arbutin and Licorice Extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) to inhibit tyrosinase activity, and Ascorbic Acid for its skin-lightening and antioxidant properties. Additionally, the serum contains Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid to promote the exfoliation of preformed melanin from the skin surface. Clinical studies have evaluated its efficacy in combination with Neotone Radiance SPF 50+ as an alternative to traditional 4% hydroquinone-based treatments for mild to moderate facial dyspigmentation.
