NeoVac PEV-TBV is a preclinical-stage mRNA-based vaccine candidate developed by NeoVac for the prevention of plague, a severe and potentially fatal bacterial infection caused by *Yersinia pestis*. The vaccine utilizes NeoVac's proprietary lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery platform to deliver mRNA encoding the F1 antigen, a major surface protein and critical virulence factor of *Y. pestis*. By expressing the F1 antigen in vivo, the vaccine is designed to stimulate a robust and protective immune response, including the production of neutralizing antibodies and T-cell activation, to provide immunity against both bubonic and pneumonic forms of the disease.
