NEOVACC doggybone personalised cancer vaccine (dbPCV) is a personalised therapeutic neoantigen DNA vaccine developed by the University of Liverpool in collaboration with Touchlight and myNEO Therapeutics. The vaccine utilizes Touchlight's proprietary 'doggybone DNA' (dbDNA) technology, which is a non-viral, enzymatically produced, closed-loop DNA structure. Each vaccine is custom-manufactured for the individual patient, encoding a unique set of tumor-specific neoantigens identified through genomic sequencing of the patient's own cancer. The goal is to stimulate the patient's immune system, specifically T-cells, to recognize and attack tumor cells expressing these mutant proteins. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase I clinical trial (NEOVACC) for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have high PD-L1 expression but have not achieved complete tumor clearance on standard pembrolizumab therapy.
