Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NEUR-EX is a multi-ingredient therapeutic formulation primarily indicated for the management of peripheral neuropathy, including diabetic neuropathy and alcoholic neuropathy. It typically combines neurotropic vitamins and antioxidants to support nerve repair and function. The primary components include methylcobalamin (Vitamin B12), which facilitates myelin sheath synthesis and nerve regeneration; alpha-lipoic acid, a potent antioxidant that reduces oxidative stress and improves endoneurial blood flow; pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), which is essential for neurotransmitter synthesis; and folic acid, which supports DNA synthesis and homocysteine regulation. By addressing both nutritional deficiencies and oxidative damage, NEUR-EX aims to alleviate symptoms such as paresthesia, burning pain, and loss of sensation.
