Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Neuro-1 is an early-stage small molecule drug candidate being developed by Interdict Bio for the treatment of neurodegenerative conditions, specifically Huntington's disease and Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA). The program utilizes Interdict Bio's proprietary discovery platform to target the Huntingtin (HTT) protein and proteins associated with Spinocerebellar ataxia, which are central to the pathogenesis of these polyglutamine expansion disorders. Currently in the hit-to-lead phase of development, Neuro-1 aims to provide a therapeutic intervention by modulating these disease-driving proteins. Interdict Bio has indicated that it is seeking strategic partnerships to advance the Neuro-1 program through clinical trials.
