The NeuroVita dendritic cell vaccine is a personalized autologous immunotherapy developed by the NeuroVita Clinic for the treatment of brain metastases from breast cancer (BMBC). The vaccine is produced by isolating dendritic cells from the patient's peripheral blood and loading them with tumor-specific antigens derived from the patient's own tumor samples or recombinant proteins identified through proteome mapping and transcriptome profiling. This therapy is typically administered as part of a multi-component regimen that includes allogeneic or autologous hematopoietic stem cells and cytotoxic lymphocytes. The vaccine's mechanism of action involves the activation of the patient's immune system to recognize and target tumor cells and tumor stem cells, aiming to convert acute, lethal neurooncological processes into manageable chronic conditions and improve overall survival and quality of life.
