Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nevamast Gel is a sterile topical medical device developed by Epitech Group SpA for the treatment of skin lesions healing by secondary intention. It is an ALIAmide-based isosmotic hydrophilic gel containing adelmidrol and trans-traumatic acid. Adelmidrol promotes the physiological endogenous increase of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), which modulates mast cells and other non-neuronal immune cells to maintain neuro-vascular balance and support tissue repair. Trans-traumatic acid facilitates keratinocyte convergence and re-epithelialization while providing a barrier against microbial colonization. The product is indicated for varicose ulcers of the lower limbs, pressure sores, and skin lesions associated with microcirculatory disorders or podology conditions.
