Overview

NFIB siRNA is a research-grade small interfering RNA (siRNA) reagent designed to silence the expression of the Nuclear Factor I B-type (NFIB) gene via RNA interference (RNAi). NFIB is a transcription factor involved in various developmental processes and has been implicated in the progression of several cancers, including melanoma and estrogen receptor-negative breast cancer. By targeting the NFIB transcript for degradation, this siRNA reduces NFIB protein levels, allowing researchers to study its role in cell proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis. It is primarily used as a laboratory tool and is available from various life science reagent suppliers such as Abbexa Ltd.
