Overview

NG-3001 is an experimental therapeutic candidate being developed by NanoGhost in collaboration with an undisclosed pharmaceutical company. It utilizes the NanoGhost platform, which consists of modified mesenchymal stem cell (MSC)-derived membranes (ghosts) to deliver a DNA-based oncolytic virus payload. The therapy is designed to target and treat various solid tumors by leveraging the natural tumor-homing capabilities of the MSC-derived vesicles to deliver the oncolytic virus directly to the tumor microenvironment. Once at the site, the oncolytic virus is intended to selectively replicate within and lyse cancer cells while potentially stimulating a systemic anti-tumor immune response. As of early 2024, the program is in the discovery stage of development.
