NG-7XX

NG-7XX is an investigational gene therapy developed by Akamis Bio for the treatment of solid tumors. It utilizes a tumor-specific delivery system to introduce three transgenes encoding interleukin-12 (IL-12), interleukin-15 (IL-15), and a chemokine directly into the tumor microenvironment. The primary mechanism of action involves activation and recruitment of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, aiming to enhance anti-tumor immune responses while minimizing systemic toxicity. This approach is designed to enable the patient’s immune system to recognize, attack, and clear solid tumors by locally producing potent immune-modulating agents within the tumor tissue[3].
