Overview

NG33 is a monoclonal antibody developed to target Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 3 (HER3), a receptor tyrosine kinase implicated in cancer. It functions by degrading HER3, reducing downstream signaling pathways, and inhibiting the growth of cultured cancer cells. Preclinical studies have shown NG33 to be a potent inhibitor of pancreatic cancer cells in animal models, suggesting its potential to intercept autocrine and stroma-tumor interactions, similar to anti-EGFR antibodies used in colorectal cancer.
