Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NGEN-121 is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf whole tumor cell vaccine being developed by NEUVOGEN for the treatment of colorectal cancer. The vaccine is built upon NEUVOGEN's proprietary platform, which utilizes genetically modified tumor cell lines enhanced with activation technology to present a broad spectrum of tumor antigens to the patient's immune system. Unlike traditional vaccines or targeted therapies that focus on a single molecular marker, NGEN-121 is designed to prime the immune system against multiple antigens simultaneously. This approach aims to address the inherent heterogeneity of colorectal tumors and potentially overcome common mechanisms of immune evasion by stimulating a polyvalent anti-tumor response.
