Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NGF-574H is a topical hair serum developed to treat androgenic alopecia (pattern hair loss). It is a **conditioned medium** of human umbilical cord blood-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUCB-MSCs). These stem cells are exposed in vitro to an environment mimicking alopecia to prime the secretion of paracrine factors (growth factors, cytokines, and trophic factors) that promote hair growth. The serum is formulated at 5% concentration of this conditioned media and is used topically on the scalp twice daily. Clinical trials in Asian adults have shown improvements in hair density, hair diameter, and hair growth after 16-24 weeks of use[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
