Overview

NGM707 is a humanized, dual antagonist monoclonal antibody targeting the inhibitory immune checkpoint receptors ILT2 (immunoglobulin-like transcript 2) and ILT4. Developed by NGM Biopharmaceuticals, it is designed to improve patient immune responses to tumors by inhibiting both ILT2 and ILT4 receptors. Blockade of ILT4 reverses myeloid cell-mediated immune suppression, while blockade of ILT2 promotes NK and CD8+ T cell killing of tumor cells and activates macrophage phagocytosis. The dual blockade acts synergistically to reverse suppression in the tumor microenvironment, potentially enhancing anti-tumor immunity in patients with advanced solid tumors[1][2][6][7].
