NGN-9076 is an investigational cell therapy consisting of differentiated neurons derived from adult central nervous system progenitor (neural stem) cells, being developed by NeuroGeneration as a restorative treatment for Parkinson’s disease. The product is intended to replace or supplement degenerating nigrostriatal neurons by transplanting neural stem cell-derived neurons into targeted brain regions, with the goal of improving motor function and modifying disease progression rather than only providing symptomatic relief.[3][5] It is being evaluated in clinical studies of neural stem cell-derived neuron transplantation for Parkinson’s disease.[3][9][5]
