Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of NGR-hTNF plus cisplatin and gemcitabine. Cisplatin and gemcitabine are established chemotherapy agents that have shown efficacy in various cancers, particularly pancreatic cancer. Cisplatin is a platinum-based drug that destroys quickly dividing cells by damaging DNA, while gemcitabine is a nucleoside analog that also targets rapidly dividing cancer cells. The combination of cisplatin and gemcitabine has demonstrated efficacy in treating pancreatic cancer, particularly in patients with BRCA/PALB2 mutations.
