A combination therapy consisting of NGR-hTNF (tengonermin), cisplatin, and pemetrexed. NGR-hTNF is a vascular-targeting recombinant protein consisting of human Tumor Necrosis Factor-α (TNF-α) conjugated with the CNGRCG peptide that selectively targets angiogenic tumor blood vessels through binding to CD13 isoform. It modifies the tumor microenvironment and increases intratumoral chemotherapy penetration and T-cell infiltration. Cisplatin and pemetrexed are chemotherapy drugs that destroy quickly dividing cells. This combination likely leverages NGR-hTNF's ability to improve tumor vasculature permeability to enhance the penetration and efficacy of cisplatin and pemetrexed.
