NGRM-001 is an investigational autologous cell-based therapy consisting of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from bone marrow aspirate. Developed by Next Generation Regenerative Medicine, the therapy is primarily intended for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. The treatment involves harvesting bone marrow aspirate from the patient's posterior superior iliac crest (often using the Marrow Cellutions system) and delivering the concentrated cells via a combination of intra-articular and subchondral injections. NGRM-001 leverages the regenerative, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory properties of MSCs to promote tissue repair, modulate the joint's microenvironment, and alleviate chronic pain associated with degenerative joint disease. It is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to establish its safety and clinical efficacy.
